Scrum & Kanban - Understand Both

Scrum & Kanban – Understand Both

Agile development aims to create customers and product users the greatest possible value. The producing of this value, its understanding and its concentration is very central in Scrum and Kanban alike. Both methods are based on Lean principles, but to create value Scrum and Kanban offer different frames. Scrum is a more precisely defined mode of operation with distinct regimes and their roles while the Kanban method, in turn, is an approach based on different principles which do not include clearly defined practices or roles.

Scrum is an iterative product development model where the product is built in short, clearly defined development cycles, i.e. Sprint. The roots of Kanban are in the manufacturing industry and the method is based on a continuous flow, its optimization, and limiting the amount of work at hand. In both methods, the product is built in small easily evaluated entities that are published as soon as possible. This ensures fast customer feedback, which is a very important element to provide correct customer value is ensured.

The aim of the course is to emphasize the common elements of Scrum and Kanban and the best practices both through theory and examples.

The training is participatory in nature and the topics will be opened through examples and exercises.
